Green Infrastructure(part 3)

An example for Green Infrastructure is an urban edge river flood plain, providing repository for flood waters. This infrastructure should function as a recreational green space, also.

United Kingdom is a leading country in Europe to largely recognise Green Infrastructure. In this country this infrastructure is an approach for spatial planning, established in national, regional, local levels, too.

2009 is  an important date for Green Infrastructure. At that year a Guide on Green Infrastructure Planning was published by Natural England, accessible on Internet, too. The essential of this Guide is to promote "green infrastructure place-making", which means for example  to maintain and perceive particular locations, where new plannings are in statement.
